Used tablets in Morocco — prices and what to check
To buy tablets second-hand: pick the brand, compare asking prices for the same model, then run the checks that matter for this category.
How much do used tablets cost in Morocco?
Price comes from the model and its condition, not from the category — but in this one, three things move it more than the rest. Storage matters more than on a phone: on an iPad it cannot be added later. The Wi-Fi and cellular versions are not the same price, and listings do not always say which one it is. Remaining software support: a tablet that no longer gets updates loses its value all at once. Pick the brand, then the model: every model page shows the median asking price computed from active listings.
What should I check on used tablets before paying?
The iCloud or Google account must be removed, or the tablet stays locked. Touch tested across the whole surface, edges included. System version still supported by the manufacturer.
Used iPad or Samsung tablet?
The iPad holds its value better and stays updated longer, so it costs more to buy and resells better. A Samsung tablet is cheaper to get into and often takes a memory card, which the iPad does not. That is the real trade-off, not the spec sheet.
How do you know a tablet will still get updates?
Look up the exact model — not the family — on the manufacturer's site: each one publishes how long it supports a device. On a model that is no longer supported, some apps eventually refuse to install, and that is what makes a tablet unusable long before the battery gives up.
Used or new tablets?
Compare the in-store price with the used median here. Used makes sense when the gap is wide and the device has been checked; when the gap is small, new with a warranty usually wins.
