Refurbished or used iPhone in Morocco: which should you buy?

Refurbished is worth it when the seller documents tests, parts and warranty; a private used iPhone wins when you can test it for ten minutes and the saving covers no warranty.

The direct answer

"Refurbished" proves neither original parts nor a thorough check: ask for the invoice, the list of replaced parts and a written warranty. A 100% battery does not prove it is new — check parts history and heat too. And a meetup has no 48-hour protection: you pay after every check.
